Most of my watching is at night and are dark shows got west world taboo etc so oled blacks seem very attractive.
75 led vs 65 oled.
With hdmi 2 1 with earc coming in a year or two.
While the blacks are awesome on the oled and the 3d is great for gaming the whites on the led are brighter and more consistent no abl varying them so each technology has its benefits.
I am looking at the same 65 vs.
65 oled or 75 lcd.
If you re looking for a tv that measures 65 inches or larger we have advice on the different types of display technologies to consider along with the best big.
I have both a 65 oled lg c6 and a 75 lcd hisense n7.
I don t want to go that route this time and i was heavily leaning towards a 75 inch 4k.
Going up from a 5yr old 60 samsung lcd.
Lg claims its oled panels only generate 34 blue light versus led tv s 64.
Seating position is 8 9 feet away from the screen.
Can t afford the 75 oled.
But seeing oled and reading all the reviews about how they smoke 4k tvs has me second guessing it.
Pq is obviously better on the oled but the larger size of the 75 is more suited for our open family room and kitchen area.
I came from a 90 1080p projector image down to a 65 oled which was hard just based on size but i like the 65 oled more than more expensive 75 va panels.
Both oled and led tvs produce blue light however oled tvs produce considerably less of it.
According the rtings for a 4k tv a 75 minimum is recommended.
Ideally for me would have been a 77 oled but i didn t want to spend the money on one esp.
Any advice on if the difference in picture quality is worth going 65 inch oled.
